Gist
We were commissioned by BaliDance to design and develop
the first ever web portfolio for Nyoman Sumerti - the
acclaimed performer and founder and manager of BaliDance.
Challenge
The online portfolio had to have the elegance and appeal
that many other websites on the same domain miss. We
knew we could do a fine work out of it.
The centre align web layout corresponds
to the wide-screen movie outlook and depicts the various
elements and forms of bali dances. The choice of the
colour was 'Black' and 'Golden' - as the latter represents
the colour of garments and ornaments used on bali dancers.
The sharp contrast with black makes the website a visual
delight.
The portfolio has multimedia elements
in place and shows Nyoman Sumerti performing various
bali dances - like the court dance and bumble bee dance.
